Thanks for answering.
I do get the text as you quote it. In fact I should have been more methodical and given you the exact wording; sorry about that.If its any use I will surely do it next time round but the wording you give seems to be about right, truer to what I also get. If you say it is normal then there is no problem.But I do still get the dos window with the internet connection on.
I do confirm getting ‘connection being established on listening port 8123’ but within the browser,settings are correct on 8118. Should I be worried on this anomaly?
I am on an XP Pro without SP2 update would that be causing the problem do you think?
Apart from that may I add your work is truely brilliant everything works as I am sure most of us would have wanted Opera to work.
I did extract the zip to Program Files before sending the folder shortcut to desktop and again making a shortcut right on my desktop of thre OperaTor icon which works perfectly.
Apologies for bothering you with this 4.2bzip in my OperaTor desktop folder,all my fault for inadvertently putting it there and then appearing with this silly query.
One final request I have never been able integrate the mail n chat in my Opera browser also its not being entirely free,would that be at all possible in future versions of OperaTor to integrate the mail as well as the chat.Then it would be more than perfect as of now I have to move to gmail and yahoo everytime.
